"beYOUty in Diversity"

"beYOUty in Diversity"

a make-up campaign shoot for BeYOUtified by Angelo

There are way too many voices but only one was meant for us to hear. However it is our duty to choose on what to listen 一 whether we'd be swayed and go along the unending 'you must be this and this only' list created by the society一 who was once a very positive word but is now known for killing millions of fire and slaughtering millions of dreams and locking people inside their comfort zones. Or you can choose to play deaf but still be aware, get out of that box, and seek for the best version of yourself. Serve YOURSELF, and do things for YOURSELF without stepping on other people's life unless permitted to.

It is not about what you deserve, it is about what you believe. And you got to start believing now that you are beautiful with or without make up! You are beYOUiful with or without tan lines and stretch marks. You are beautiful no matter what skin color you possess. You are beautiful in any form you can be, in any RACE, ETHIC, GENDER and no one will be as beYOUtiful as you are once you start believing and embracing your "flaws". There are a lot of people out there who can apply make up professionally but no ones gonna make you any prettier but yourself...

Indeed, there's beauty in diversity. And there is beyouty within you.

our fight for equality and acceptance is still a long way to go, but we can try to make things better each day. if we take part in the change that we want.. the change that will not harm others but rather will accept and embrace each one's diversity, towards freedom and love.

Disclaimer: The other model is not around in this photo above, because she wasn't able to finish the whole shoot because of her prior commitment at home.

  1. In a society, everyone has the right to live his or her life without discrimination. We term equality the achievement of a state in which all individuals are regarded equal regardless of caste, gender, colour, profession, or rank. Equality may also be described as the condition in which every individual has the same rights and opportunities to grow and succeed.

We are PROMITING INCLUSIVITY, DIVERSITY, UNITY AND EQUALITY. You are the leader of your own LIFE, be who YOU are as long as you are true to YOUr self.

  11. "Indeed, there's beauty in diversity. And there is beyouty within you." Wow, this statement is so powerful and I truly agree with this. I believe that many people in our generation still lack confidence in themselves and refuse to step outside the boundaries that prevent them from becoming who they truly are. This blog has made me understand how important it is for people to speak up and stand up for themselves, just like what Harnaaz Sandhu stated on her winning answer in Miss Universe 2021, "This is what you need to understand. Come out, speak for yourselves because you are the leader of your life, you are the voice of your own. I believed in myself and that's why I am standing here today."

Last but not least, I genuinely agree that by working together, we can create a world where everyone is accepted and treated equally. I believe that by embracing diversity and accepting each uniqueness that makes all of us special and beautiful, each of us can begin to make positive changes both within ourselves and in the society in which we live.

Thank you for this inspiring blog. I hope that it will continue to inspire individuals to embrace themselves and realize how absolutely beyoutiful they already are.

  13. Can this be said louder???!!! Such a powerful, timely and timeless for all generations!!! In a country where beauty is being standardized by white skin, pouty lips, hourglass figure, muscles and brains, skin to bones "fat", perfect teeth, etc, this message is an awesome reminder that Beauty is NEVER any of thoseee!!! I love it when you said "no ones gonna make you any prettier but yourself". You are what you think after all!!! Manifestinggg such beYOUtiFULL thoughts!!!

  14. It is always about what you believe and how you believe in yourself. Seeing how you can see beauty amidst diversity shows how you look deeper at things. In this world full of confusions about the word "beautiful", you have made it clear to us through this post that beauty is about being yourself and showing what you've got. Nice work Sir Gelo!! Continue inspiring people through your pieces.
